Care & support

Long-term care is provided for people with complex, unpredictable medical needs who cannot remain at home or in a supportive living setting. A Registered Nurse Care Leader oversees resident care and leads an interdisciplinary team.

The care team includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, health care aides, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, recreational therapists and social workers.

Staff help with morning and evening routines, meals, bathing and medication management, and 24-hour on-site care staff are present.

Residents live in private suites. Rooms are cleaned weekly and washrooms daily or as needed, and bedding, linens and towels are provided and laundered by AgeCare.
