Care & support
Individual care plans start with each guest’s goals and current condition, then identify interventions. Ridgeview uses an interdisciplinary process that draws on professional expertise and knowledge from the guest and family.
Skilled nursing is available around the clock when recovery or rehabilitation requires it. Nursing follows the physician’s orders, and the interdisciplinary team supports the transition into care and then back home or to another facility, as appropriate.
Listed skilled-nursing services include CPAP, cardiac, catheter/Foley, complex wound and diabetes care. Other listed services include enteral nutrition, immunizations, IV access, fluids and medication, lab services, nebulizer treatment, nutrition management and education, oncology care, orthopedic and joint-replacement rehabilitation, ostomy care, oxygen therapy and pain management.
Physical therapy aims to improve movement and function and reduce pain. For orthopedic rehabilitation, the team consults with the surgeon and provides updates to the surgeon and primary care physician.
Speech-language therapy addresses speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders.
