The Oaks

The nursing staff provides 24-hour care including physician and nurse coverage. Services include wound care, IV therapy, infection management, medication management, post-surgical care, case management, discharge planning and social services.

Physical, occupational and speech therapists evaluate each patient's rehabilitation needs and design an outcome-oriented treatment program, with both inpatient and outpatient programs.

The facility has a therapy system for swallowing disorders and a specialized wound care system.

Private and semiprivate rooms are available, along with private bathrooms. Rooms have flat-screen TVs, telephone and cable television hookups and bedside and bathroom call lights.

Housekeeping and laundry services, religious services, flexible visiting hours and complimentary wireless Internet are offered. The facility is non-smoking and visiting pets are allowed.

Family and resident councils, a patient and family education program and a community re-entry program are part of the offerings.

The facility has a certified dietitian and a fine dining program.

A daily activity schedule is led by a full-time, certified activity director.
