A multi-disciplinary team provides short-term rehabilitation and subacute care, and the facility offers both short-term and long-term stays with care delivered around the clock by trained professionals.

The therapy team consists of physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists.

A Dementia Special Care Unit provides specialized care for residents with dementia, including additional dementia care training, expanded activities and a safe, comfortable physical environment. Such units are certified yearly by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Respite care gives family caregivers a break, subject to availability and a minimum stay, and an on-site hospice team works with the facility staff to meet end-of-life care needs.

For short-term residents, the interdisciplinary team of rehab, social services and nursing makes recommendations for the home setting and helps with discharge planning, and it develops a functional plan for long-term care residents.
