Three care neighborhoods provide different levels of care for residents at different stages: Nexus for early-stage residents who are more independent, Enrichment for residents in the transitional stages, and Sensory for residents in later stages who need a high degree of help with daily activities.
The care team includes a physician medical director, a masters level social worker and 24-hour licensed nurses.
All associates are dementia care certified, a program that requires 40 hours of classroom and hands-on training. Staff are trained in the challenges of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Lewy body and other types of dementia.

Nexus at Silverado is a non-drug brain health program for residents in the earlier stages of dementia, combining science and social engagement.
