Care & support
The nursing team includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, providing care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Skilled nursing and complex medical care covers IV infusion therapy including antibiotics, pain management, wound care, complicated diabetes and post-surgical complications.
Wound care is supervised by a wound care specialist physician, with consultations on site and care supported by the center's own certified wound care nurses.
Physical, occupational and speech therapy are provided, along with wound and IV therapies seven days a week as ordered by a physician.
Post-acute rehabilitation covers cardiac, orthopedic, stroke, respiratory, neurological and amputation care, and hip and knee fractures and replacements.
Licensed social service staff assist during the transition period and throughout a stay, and the team may arrange home health or other programs for a safe return home. Palliative to supportive care services are also offered.
