Care & support
Staff are on site 24 hours a day with an emergency response system. Visiting services include a blood pressure clinic, audiology and hearing clinic, visiting podiatrist, mobile massage therapist and support groups.
Additional home care services and companionship can be arranged through Fraser Health as residents needs change.
Rooms & living spaces
Each suite has a full kitchen, full-size refrigerator, and a patio or balcony, and many have mountain views. Suites also include in-suite air-conditioning, an individual thermostat and a personal mailbox.
Rent includes one meal daily, weekly housekeeping and linen service, utilities, transportation services and emergency response. Pets are welcome.
Dining & meals
Meals are served in a social dining room with open seating. A private dining room can be booked for family gatherings, and a large bistro serves hot beverages and snacks.
Menus include daily features with seasonal ingredients and an a la carte menu, along with made-from-scratch soups, salads, fruit and homemade desserts. A bar and lounge is also on site.
Activities & connection
Activities include fitness classes, yoga, speaker series, live entertainment, musical events, birthday parties, themed dinners and a gardening club. Outings go to local art galleries, the cultural centre and the Chilliwack Tulip Festival.
Shared spaces & amenities
On-site spaces include a fitness room, a multi-purpose room for billiards, darts and shuffleboard, a movie theatre room, a bistro, a patio and a bar and lounge. Outdoor parking and transportation by appointment are available.
Location & getting around
The residence is across the street from the Landing Leisure Centre, an art gallery, a cultural centre and Chilliwack General Hospital. Townsend Park is next door.
