Care & support
Health services are based in Monarch Pavilion, which houses Azalea View for assisted living, Wisteria Park for memory support and Sage Glen for skilled nursing.
Azalea View assisted living is open to independent living residents and to the public, with monthly rates that include care, housekeeping, laundry and medication management. Transfers from independent living and direct admission from off campus are both available.
Wisteria Park memory support has 24/7 coverage by licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants, staff with ongoing dementia care training, horticulture therapy in a 10,000-square-foot Memory Support Garden, and weekly music therapy.
Canterbury Court follows the person-centered Eden Alternative philosophy, which focuses on connection and meaningful engagement each day.
Rooms & living spaces
Independent living ranges from studio and one-bedroom apartments to expansive two- and three-bedroom homes, including Signature Series apartments and new homes in the Garden Tower.
Azalea View assisted living offers one- and two-bedroom apartments from 536 to 869 square feet, with kitchenettes, walk-in closets, a washer and dryer, and balconies in some floor plans.
Wisteria Park memory support has private suites with a private bathroom and shower for every resident.
Dining & meals
The Grille is the largest dining venue, with an indoor dining room, a full-service bar and a covered outdoor dining area. Hancock's & McBurney's and Court Cafe offer lunch, dinner, breakfast and snack options.
Assisted living residents have multiple dining rooms across campus and short-order meals, and the 4Cs store sells household items and snacks.
Activities & connection
The campus offers 48 fitness classes each week and 26 resident-led committees, plus educational and enrichment events, a woodworking shop and a movie theater.
Assisted living residents can join organized outings such as scenic drives and trips to local dining, shopping and entertainment.
Shared spaces & amenities
Legacy Gardens is a wooded protected wildlife sanctuary of more than 10 acres at the center of the campus, and the campus has 2.5 miles of paved trails.
Amenities include a heated indoor pool and whirlpool, a wellness center with fitness equipment, a library, chapel, beauty and barber shop, personal garden plots, an orchid greenhouse and a dog park.
Residents have scheduled transportation, an emergency response and check-in system, controlled access around the clock, and gated garage parking with elevators.
