Care & support
Short-term rehab services include physical, occupational and speech therapy, orthopedic, cardiac and stroke rehabilitation, and a fall risk assessment and conditioning program. A full-time on-site nurse practitioner is part of the team.
Therapy spaces include a Brownstone-style apartment, a therapy car, and indoor and outdoor therapy areas. Post-discharge monitoring through a telehealth system is also used.
Long-term care includes round-the-clock nursing services, with support for pain management, rehabilitation, respiratory care, counseling, cancer care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, and nutritional management.
Temporary respite stays include 24-hour nursing supervision. Patients who still need 24-hour skilled nursing after rehab can move to long-term care at Regent Park.
Dining & meals
Meals are chef-prepared and served restaurant style in a bright, open-concept dining room. Residents choose from an à la carte menu, and two open neighbourhood kitchens let residents see and smell food being prepared.
Activities & connection
The activity calendar includes bingo on Saturdays, a Friday happy hour with live entertainment, a Monday rosary, Catholic services and a monthly memorial service. Outings run every Wednesday, with sign-ups at the Life Enrichment Office.
