The Care Assist program offers a la carte services and all-inclusive care packages, with care staff on site 24/7 and a call bell system in each suite.

Examples of services include medication management, oxygen management, help with morning or evening routines, bathing or showering assistance, injection service, continence care, meal assistance and escorts to meals or activities.

Lab and pharmacy providers partner with the community, so residents can see a pharmacist or other health care provider without leaving. A Health & Wellness Manager assesses care needs before move-in, and respite stays are offered.

Suites come as studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-den and two-bedroom layouts with nine-foot ceilings, large windows, a private balcony, a full kitchen, in-suite storage and individually controlled heating and air conditioning.

Each suite has a step-in shower with grab bars and an emergency call system, and suites are pet-friendly. In-suite laundry, a personal mailbox and weekly housekeeping are also listed.

Separate seniors' apartments next to the main residence have full kitchens, and residents can opt into a meal plan. If needs change, residents can move into the main retirement residence.

Chef-prepared meals are served in the Empress Dining Room, with daily features and a la carte selections and flexible dining times. Independent living includes three chef-prepared meals each day.

The Westhill Cafe and Pickwick's Pub offer a casual setting, and the Rosecourt Dining Room is a private space for hosting family and friends. Menus change with the four seasons.

Activities include fitness and wellness classes, social events, guest speakers, live music, creative workshops, cooking demonstrations, Sunday services and day trips aboard the community coach.

Amenities include the Fit Club fitness centre, the Fireside Lounge, Century Hall for movies, a demonstration kitchen, a salon and spa, a cafe and pub, and gardens with walking paths and a gazebo.

Optional services include designated parking, Store to Door grocery delivery, personal laundry, wellness and esthetician treatments, and a guest suite for visiting family and friends.

The community is minutes from The Boardwalk, which has shops, restaurants, cafes, banks, pharmacies and a medical clinic, and is near parks and walking trails.
