Care & support
The community is designed primarily for independent living, with friendly staff on site to assist with coordination and questions. Residents who need help with bathing, dressing or medication can privately arrange additional support through outside providers.
Front desk staff are available 24 hours a day and trained in CPR and First Aid. The community also provides a Telus LivingWell Companion to all residents and has overnight security patrols.
Rooms & living spaces
Suites range from 578 to 630 square feet and include full kitchens, air conditioning, patios, and accessible bathrooms with walk-in showers and bathtubs.
Suites offer weekly housekeeping and linen and towel services. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture, artwork and belongings.
Dining & meals
The main dining room serves chef-prepared meals made with fresh, local ingredients, with a diverse a la carte menu, daily specials and themed dinners. The dining room is open from 10am to 7pm.
A bistro offers a daily continental breakfast with hot porridge, all day snacks, and a barista serving fresh ground coffee and specialty drinks. A private dining room can be booked for guests.
Activities & connection
The fitness centre offers daily exercise classes, chair yoga, laughter yoga, stretch and balance, power hour and Zumba.
Recreation includes movies in the theatre, a weekly happy hour, a book club, discussion groups, music performances and a yearly talent show. A volunteer plays pool with residents weekly.
Shared spaces & amenities
The rooftop terrace has ocean and mountain views and hosts gardening, barbecues, concerts and putting. Other amenities include a library, a business centre, a movie theatre, an on-site salon and an on-site store open 24/7.
Additional services include reserved underground parking, storage lockers, guest meals, cable and wifi, and a shuttle for shopping, beach or casino trips and scenic drives.
Accessibility
The building is accessible for wheelchairs and indoor scooters, including an entire floor with ramps to the dining room. Suites have a walk-in shower and bathtub.
