Medication management includes coordination with physicians and refill assistance, and residents have a wearable pendant that pages a care attendant when pressed.
Physical, occupational and speech therapies are provided through a partnership with UT Health East Texas Home Health at on-site facilities.
Rooms & living spaces
The community has 156 independent living cottages with full kitchens and private patios. Floor plans range from one bedroom at 735 square feet to a two-bedroom with a study and attached two-car garage at 1,376 square feet.
The 56 assisted living suites are pet-friendly, with studio to two-bedroom layouts that range from 400 to 750 square feet.
The Cottage has 30 memory care units, including semi-private studios, private studios and deluxe private studios.
Small dogs and cats are welcome in independent living and assisted living apartments.
Dining & meals
Meals are served in the dining room and bistro, and independent living residents have a Fork & Leaf salad bar. Menus rotate seasonally with East Texas comfort favorites.
The My Food program includes family recipes, a birthday meal of the resident’s choice, themed Family Nights and cooking demonstrations. Room service is also available.
Activities & connection
The Passion Program offers signature activities and social clubs. The calendar typically includes fitness classes, arts and crafts workshops, live music, educational talks, themed parties, volunteer projects and day trips.
Events include happy hours, live entertainment, family nights, intergenerational events and educational seminars.
