Care & support
An interdisciplinary team works with residents, patients, families and staff to develop an individual care plan. Licensed nurses are on site 24 hours a day, with physical, occupational and speech therapists on the team.
Physical therapy can address walking, strength, balance and endurance. Listed treatments include gait training with assistive devices and transfer training.
Occupational therapy works on daily activities such as self-feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting and homemaking. Speech therapy addresses communication, speech and language, and swallowing.
Skilled nursing includes respiratory support such as airway management, oxygen and pulmonary hygiene, as well as wound care. Infusion therapy can include IV antibiotics, line maintenance, pain management and parenteral nutrition.
