Independent living residents must be 62 or older. Supportive services are private pay and performed by licensed CNAs and certified caregivers, and skilled home health services can be provided in the apartment.
Assisted living at The Oasis includes three meals a day plus snacks, 24-hour caregiver assistance, weekly housekeeping and laundry, with help for bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinence management and medication management.
The Oasis is licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services for all three levels of assisted living care, and residents complete a health assessment with the Assisted Living Director before admission.
In memory care, certified caregivers provide substantial help with ambulation, menu selection, bathing, toileting, dressing and medication management.
A Curana Health primary care clinic is located in The Oasis building and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with walk-ins welcome.
An outpatient physical therapy program offers individualized treatment, including manual therapy and muscle-strengthening techniques.
