The memory care unit uses a multi-disciplinary approach that brings together geriatric physicians, recreation staff and specially trained nurses and nursing assistants, with an individually customized plan of care for each resident.
Skilled nursing services include IV therapy, PICC line therapy and wound care. Specialty programs cover post-surgical orthopedic care, hip repair and joint replacement recovery, and stroke recovery.
Nursing staff work closely with physicians, rehabilitation therapists, social workers and registered dietitians. Short-term rehabilitation, respite care and long-term skilled nursing care are offered.
