Care & support

The hospice team includes physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, resident care aides, a chaplain and a social worker. Pain and symptom control, counseling and spiritual care are part of the support offered.

Long-term care serves people with complex health needs who are unable to remain at home or in a supportive living setting. The team includes nurses, care partners, an occupational therapist, a social worker, a chaplain, a dietitian and a recreation therapist.

Alberta Health Services Transition Services coordinates continuing care admissions, and hospice referrals come through palliative care teams in hospital or home care programs.
