Caregivers provide monitoring and assistance 24 hours a day, including help with daily tasks, bathing, meal and activity reminders, personal laundry and routine housekeeping.
Each resident receives a personalized plan of care developed after a comprehensive nursing assessment by the nursing team.
The team is led by an Executive Director who is a registered nurse.
Services include medication management and wellness programs, along with emergency assistance and transportation for medical appointments.
Short-term respite stays are available for recovery after illness or surgery or to give family caregivers a break. Respite stays require a minimum of two weeks.
Rooms & living spaces
Apartments come in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts across eighteen floor plans, and some are over 1,000 square feet.
Apartments have large windows, abundant storage and stainless steel appliances including full-size refrigerators and microwaves. Select units have built-in bookshelves and mountain or fir tree views.
Apartments are private and unfurnished, with individual heating and air conditioning in each one.
A guest hospitality suite is available for overnight visitors. The community is private-pay and does not accept Medicaid.
Dining & meals
Residents can take meals with friends in the 1923 Bistro. Meals are chef-prepared.
The dining team uses seasonal fruits and vegetables and heart-healthy techniques, including a no-salt-added menu.
A patio dining space with natural views is available for outdoor meals.
Activities & connection
The activity calendar includes live music and sing-alongs, weekly outings, cooking demonstrations, art classes, exercise programs, brain games and weekly book clubs.
Group transportation goes to events in Lane County and beyond, and non-denominational worship services are held.
Residents and families use the Go Icon app to see upcoming events and menus and to share photos and updates.
Shared spaces & amenities
Common spaces include the Timber View Library on the third floor, an art studio, a fireplace lounge, a movie theater and a group exercise room and fitness center.
A salon and barber shop, a gardening area and two resident laundry rooms on each floor are on site.
The community is pet-friendly and has an on-site fenced dog park. A playroom is set aside for visiting grandchildren.
