Care & support

Terrace assisted living residents have a medical alert pendant and a licensed nurse on staff 24 hours a day, and services include medication management, bathing, dressing, toileting and escorts to meals and activities.

Care needs are determined through an assessment before move-in and reassessed yearly, or sooner if a resident's situation changes.

The Veranda memory care building supports residents with dementia and Alzheimer's through individualized care plans and supervision and assistance with daily living around the clock.

Outpatient therapy provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and other rehabilitative services, including aquatic therapy in a therapy pool.

RiverCare at Riverview offers in-home care and in-home health services, and the on-site healthcare provider MezaCare visits the campus several times each week for geriatric consultations.

Village independent living offers 163 homes with several floor plans, and the Village allows two small pets.

Terrace apartments include studios and one-bedroom apartments for both assisted living and independent living, and residents can stay in the same room if they move from independent to assisted living.

Everyday life

Room and board for Terrace residents includes three meals a day, snacks and beverages all day, light housekeeping, basic cable, internet, all utilities and free access to the aquatic and fitness center and the workshop.

A full-time chaplain provides spiritual support, and the campus has a chapel.

Dining & meals

The campus has an on-site restaurant and a RiverBrew coffee shop open weekdays and Saturday, plus a bar and a private dining room that can be reserved for gatherings.

Special dining events include candlelight dinners, wine nights, themed meals and holiday buffets.

Activities & connection

Residents can join clubs, card games, music and arts programs including a choir and handbell choir, educational classes, gardening with raised beds, and the Riverview Presents performance series.

Organized outings use the community's 15-passenger vans for day trips, meal outings, museum tours and shopping, and residents help plan where to go.

The activities team shows movies weekly in a theater that seats more than 30 people in full recliners.

Shared spaces & amenities

The Fitness and Aquatics Center includes a lazy river, lap pool, therapy pool, spa tub, indoor walking track and an exercise studio.

A woodworking workshop has lathes, saws and an on-site trainer, and the campus also has a library, computer lab, game area and activity room.
