Tier One includes three meals and snacks daily, daily bedmaking, help with bathing up to twice a week, a personal health plan, weekly housekeeping, laundry and linen services.

Tier Two adds meal reminders, occasional help with mobility and increased personal care. Tier Three adds more frequent bathing and laundry services, toileting assistance, enhanced nursing care and 10 to 14 hours of weekly personal care, housekeeping and food service assistance.

Medication management is provided according to each resident's level of care. Transportation to appointments is included.

Respite stays include a private apartment with a walk-in shower, three chef-prepared meals daily, activities, transportation to local appointments, housekeeping and linen services. Respite guests also use the same amenities as long-term residents.

Dining & meals

Chefs work with a registered dietitian to prepare meals, which are served restaurant-style in the dining room. The community serves breakfast, dinner and supper every day.

Dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan requirements, are accommodated, and alternate choices are always available. A family dining space seats six to eight people for special occasions.

Monthly activities include movies, chair aerobics, gardening, walking groups, crafts, word games, a book club, bird watching, live entertainment, religious services and shopping at local stores.

The activities director works with nursing staff to plan around residents' interests and abilities, and the community arranges outings and guest speakers.
