Care & support
Registered nurse supervisors are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and a dedicated wound care nurse provides wound care.
On-site rehabilitation includes physical, occupational and speech therapy, along with restorative nursing such as exercise, walking, socialization, activities of daily living and splinting programs.
A transitional rehabilitation unit serves patients being discharged from a hospital or acute care setting who need additional therapy before returning home.
For patients who need 24-hour nursing care, on-site services include IV therapy, wound care, respiratory care, feeding tubes, hospice care and respite care.
A palliative care nurse practitioner is on site, and a 12-bed inpatient hospice unit run by Family Hospice and Palliative Care is also available.
The on-site UPP Geriatric Clinic provides comprehensive geriatric assessments, primary and specialty care, and dental, eye, audiology, podiatry and psychiatry services. Telemedicine allows remote assessments by fellowship-trained geriatricians.
Renaissance Hall is the skilled nursing memory care unit for residents with short-term memory loss and dementia-related illness, including Alzheimer's disease. Specialized care plans, activity programs and mealtimes are designed to help residents be as independent as possible.
Renaissance Hall has 32 private and semi-private beds with Dutch doors, lounges with fireplaces, spacious dining areas, indoor gardening areas, an outdoor walking path and an outdoor courtyard and garden.

Private and semi-private rooms are available. Each resident has a flat screen TV at the bedside, and cable and phone service are included.
Activities & connection
Scheduled socials and activities, community-sponsored events, educational opportunities, games, arts and crafts, sports and music are provided.
A resident council and caregiver support groups meet on a regular basis, and on-site pastoral care services and a historic non-denominational chapel are available.

The community has an in-house personal care salon and gift shop, Wi-Fi throughout the facility and a 24-hour visitation policy.
