Care & support
Professional health care staff are on site around the clock, including personal support workers and registered staff, with ongoing health monitoring, medication administration and help with daily activities as required.
Physicians provide medical care in house, with Medical Director services twice weekly and as required. Pharmacy, physiotherapy, dietician and palliative care services are also listed.
Contracted diagnostic supports such as bloodwork and x-rays are available in house, and staff assist in arranging dental and eye care services in house as available.
Rooms & living spaces
Rooms are furnished with a bed, nightstand and closet, and families are encouraged to decorate with personal mementos. Rooms and common areas are cleaned daily, personal laundry is handled daily, and all resident rooms and common areas are air conditioned.
Dining & meals
Three meals are served daily in a spacious dining room, with snacks between meals and at bedtime. Meals are planned under the direction of a Nutritional Manager and a Registered Dietician, and special therapeutic diets are provided.
Activities & connection
Recreational programs include arts and crafts, bingo, exercise classes, singing, in-house concerts and group excursions and outdoor activities. Volunteers provide music, friendly visits and pet therapy.
Weekly multi-denominational church services are held in house, and a Spiritual Care Co-ordinator holds memorial services and spiritual counseling.
