Assisted living gives help with daily living, including bathing, grooming and incontinence care. A licensed on-site nurse provides each resident with a care assessment.

Assisted living services include individual care plans, assistance with medication, medication reviews and consultations with physicians, access to telehealth, and escorts to and from meals and events.

The memory care neighborhood is designed for residents with cognitive impairment. It has natural light, outdoor courtyards with safe access to fresh air, and personal mementos that help residents find their apartment.

Memory care includes 24-hour supervision and assistance with activities of daily living. Staff learn each resident's background, skills and preferences, and the community offers support groups for families.

Hoag Hospital is just across the street from the community.

Assisted and independent living apartments come as studios, one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms. Memory care is offered in studios and shared suites.

Apartment features include a kitchenette, refrigerator, walk-in closet, individual thermostat control, Wi-Fi, cable TV, electronic key entry and an Amazon Echo Show. Select apartments have a balcony or patio and a washer and dryer.

Monthly rent covers housekeeping and linen services, apartment maintenance, utilities and scheduled local transportation. Services also include a concierge, on-site worship services and an emergency alert system.

Residents may bring pets. The community welcomes residents' pets, and fees and vaccination and licensing requirements apply.

Three on-site dining venues, 1888 Bistro, Vasco's Restaurant and Avalon Lounge, serve menus built on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. A private dining room is also available.

In memory care, dining tables are reserved for memory care residents, with colorful dishware designed to stimulate appetite.

The Engage Life program offers events across six dimensions: health and fitness, lifelong learning, creative expression, social connection, civic involvement, and spiritual fellowship.

A monthly Social Series brings residents together, and memory care activities include dance, gardening, cognitive exercises, reminiscence therapy and music-based programs.

Amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio, salon and spa, movie theater, library, courtyard, cocktail lounge, bistro and a parking garage.

Residents wear a CarePredict wristband that detects falls and allows emergency communication with care staff. On-site physical and occupational therapy is provided by a third party.

The community is surrounded by shopping at Fashion Island and is near Lido Marina Village, Newport Beach and Crystal Cove State Park.
