Care & support
The Care Assist program offers à la carte wellness services and all-inclusive care packages, so residents can add or remove services as their needs change.
Care staff are on site 24/7, and each suite has a call bell system. An on-call nurse is also part of the community.
Services include medication management, help with morning or evening routines, bathing or showering assistance, continence care, meal assistance, and oxygen and CPAP/BiPAP assistance. Additional fees apply.
Pharmacy and lab services are available through partner providers, along with foot care, blood pressure clinics and a visiting physician. A Health & Wellness Manager completes an assessment before move-in.
A respite program is offered for short-term stays for respite, recovery or as a trial stay.
Rooms & living spaces
Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites are available. Each suite includes weekly housekeeping, an individual thermostat for heating and air conditioning, a kitchenette, cable TV, a telephone and Wi-Fi.
Suite rental includes utilities, three daily meals, access to laundry facilities and a controlled entrance to the residence. Optional services include in-suite meal delivery, daily housekeeping, personal laundry, storage, outdoor parking and the on-site hair salon.
Residents are welcome to bring a pet when they move in.
Dining & meals
Three daily meals are served in the dining room, with a full breakfast and multiple choices at lunch and dinner. Menus feature freshly-prepared dishes using seasonal ingredients.
Snacks are available in the bistro. Themed dinners are held, and families can join for dinner events or book the private dining room.
Servers work with the food service team to personalize meals to residents' dietary preferences and requests.
Activities & connection
A rotating schedule of optional activities includes accessible exercise classes, live music, arts and crafts, movie nights, guest speakers and gardening in the garden beds.
Staff organize day trips to local destinations, including NewRoads Performing Arts Centre and Elman W. Campbell Museum.
Shared spaces & amenities
On-site amenities include a dining room, bistro, fitness room, library, activity room, lounge and a backyard for residents to enjoy. A hair salon is also available on site.
