Care and support are available around the clock, and staff carry out safety checks at mealtimes three times a day and hourly overnight.

Residents can bake and cook in a country kitchen, and a monthly Chef's Table presentation is held.

A full-time Director of Health and Wellness organizes craft classes, exercise classes, bingo and day trips, and the activity calendar is published monthly.
Resident-led groups include a choir, gardening group, walking group and knitting group, along with a resident council.
A wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus is used for outings, day trips, local churches and resident medical appointments.
Shared spaces & amenities
Amenities include a heated indoor swimming pool with a weekly instructor-led aquafit class, an exercise room with a yoga area, a movie theatre and a library with internet-access computers.
A bistro and games room has a pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey and Wii games, and the building also has a beauty parlour and barber shop, a non-denominational chapel and a general store.
Accessibility
Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible with grab rails and walk-in showers, hallways are wide and well lit with grab rails, and emergency call systems are provided in the suites.
Location & getting around
The residence is near the intersection of Midland Road and Princess Street, with a grocery store and pharmacy across the street and Cataraqui Centre mall a few minutes away.
Outdoor areas include a patio and swing, and a large public park is across the street.
