Assisted living suites are funded through Interior Health and require an individual assessment arranged through the nearest Home & Community Care Office.
Long-term care is subsidized. Sun Pointe Village also lists 24-hour emergency response among its services.
Rooms & living spaces
The Joe Rich community has 40 independent living suites, with studio and one-bedroom layouts ranging from 347 to 656 square feet. Each has a walk-in shower with a seat, kitchenette, mini-fridge and microwave. Suites are unfurnished, so residents can bring their own furniture.

The 100 long-term care suites are spread across four communities. Each is furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and nightstand; residents can bring personal belongings.
Independent living rent is all-inclusive and differs by suite type. These suites are not covered by BC Housing’s subsidized rental program.

Weekly housekeeping includes laundering bed and bathroom linens. Residents can use the washing machines and dryers at their leisure; personal laundry service is included in long-term care.

Independent living residents receive three meals a day, while assisted living residents receive two. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day.
