Assisted living support is provided in the resident's own apartment, with no separate assisted living wing. After an assessment by a registered clinician, residents are placed in one of four levels of care, and services can increase or decrease as needs change. Direct admission into assisted living is accepted.

Supportive services may include medication management, help with bathing, dressing and grooming, mobility support, special dietary accommodations and wellness monitoring. A Certified Nursing Assistant is on staff around the clock, and residents have a call system.

Rooms & living spaces

Independent living apartments are one- and two-bedroom residences with waterfront views, a full-sized kitchen, walk-in showers, a washer and dryer, individually controlled temperature settings, and utilities included. Select apartments have a private patio or balcony.

The Villas are 26 patio-style homes of 2,000 to 2,500 square feet with a private garage, covered porch and zero-entry showers. Residences are unfurnished, and dogs and cats are welcome.

Everyday life

Services include 24-hour staffing with a call system, concierge services, housekeeping, laundry, scheduled transportation to medical appointments and regular outings, utilities, basic cable TV and internet. Maintenance is on call 24/7.

Dining & meals

Restaurant-style dining includes breakfast, lunch and dinner with seasonal menus and an always-available menu, plus grab-and-go options. Independent living apartment residents receive two chef-prepared meals a day, and assisted living residents receive three meals a day. Vegetarian, low-sodium and diabetic-friendly options are available.

Private dining options are available for family gatherings and special events, and family and friends are welcome to join residents for meals.

Activities & connection

Programs include book clubs, lectures, art workshops, chair yoga and balance classes, walking groups, a Resident Council and faith-based programs such as Bible study and interfaith services.

Events and excursions include live music, happy hours, movie nights, seasonal parties, waterfront excursions, boating and local outings.

Amenities include a fifth floor Bayview Club with a game room, piano and virtual golf simulator, an outdoor heated pool with bay views, a spa, a salon, the Town Hall Café, a library, an arts and crafts center, a pier and boat dock, a community boat, and an outdoor bocce ball court.

The community is beside Hilton Head Plantation, near waterfront dining at Skull Creek Boathouse, Hudson's and Chart House. Shelter Cove Towne Centre and The Shops at Sea Pines Center are nearby, and Hilton Head Regional Medical Center is less than 15 minutes away.
