Care & support
Care levels are set through an assessment of physical and cognitive needs. Assisted living covers help such as medication reminders and activities of daily living, and team members are available around the clock.
The My Wellness program starts with an assessment covering health history, medication, physical abilities and preferences, leads to a service agreement, and includes scheduled care conferences with families.
Medication management includes coordination with primary care physicians, refill assistance and an electronic medication administration record, and residents have a wearable pendant that pages the care attendant.
Memory care in The Cottage is a purpose-built neighborhood with round-the-clock support from caregivers trained in dementia care.
On-site therapy through Select Rehabilitation includes physical, occupational and speech therapy, and the program accepts various forms of insurance, including Medicare.
Rooms & living spaces
Independent living apartments are one- and two-bedroom layouts of about 720 to 1,140 square feet with full kitchens, linen closets, walk-in closets and private balconies.
Assisted living offers studios and one-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes and private baths, and memory care offers private and companion suites.
Residents can bring their own belongings or choose a furnishing package that can be set up within 72 hours, and small dogs and cats are allowed in independent and assisted living apartments.
Dining & meals
Meals are served in a restaurant-style dining room and a casual bistro cafe, with menu choices for special diets, dietary monitoring and room service as an option.
The My Food program lets residents share family recipes, request a favorite birthday meal, and attend themed family night dinners and cooking demonstrations.
Activities & connection
Events include family nights, happy hours, live entertainment, themed dances, educational seminars and outings to places such as the World Birding Center.
Activity calendars typically feature fitness classes, arts and crafts, day trips, educational talks, volunteer projects and special interest clubs.
Shared spaces & amenities
Common spaces include a library with reading nooks, game and card rooms, a movie theater and media room, a full-service salon and barber shop, and landscaped courtyards.
