Nursing staff are on duty 24 hours a day, and care follows an individualized assessment and care plan developed by an interdisciplinary health care team.
Services include a dietician, occupational therapists and physiotherapists, a palliative approach to care, pain and symptom management, and spiritual services.
Students from various health-related professions train in the home through the Collaborative Learning Centre, which has improved care planning for residents.
