Care & support
Staff are on site around the clock, and residents have a personal alarm and an emergency response system in their suites.
Type B Living (DSL 3) suites are 341-square-foot studios. Residents in these suites receive breakfast and an evening snack as well as lunch and supper.
Services for residents with higher care needs are offered, along with optional services such as breakfast and personal laundry for an additional fee. A flexible service package can be arranged with the management team.
Rooms & living spaces
Independent suites include Studio B (412 square feet), One Bedroom G (528 square feet), One Bedroom D (638 square feet), Two Bedroom H (660 square feet) and Two Bedroom C (752 square feet).
Each suite has a kitchenette with a fridge and stove, its own air conditioning unit and heat thermostat, and a large walk-in shower in the bathroom.
Independent living suites are unfurnished, so residents are free to decorate.
Everyday life
Monthly fees cover more than rent, including all utilities, weekly light housekeeping, two meals a day, social and recreational programs, 24-hour staffing, maintenance, shuttle transportation and linen service.
Emerald Gardens is pet-friendly. Well-behaved pets of 30 pounds or less are permitted with the approval of the residence manager.
Dining & meals
Chefs prepare fresh meals daily. The evening meal is served in the dining room by restaurant-style wait staff, and a late dinner service lets residents enjoy a dinner plate in the dining room or take it home.
Breakfast is flexible, and residents can invite family and friends to eat with them.
Activities & connection
Weekly organized activities and events are scheduled with input from residents and staff and include church services, musical performances, fitness classes and bingo.
Shared spaces & amenities
Shared spaces include a games room with billiards, darts and shuffleboard, an exercise room with bikes and treadmills, and a main floor lobby with comfortable seating and a fireplace.
Other amenities include a craft room, hair salon, spa room with an assisted tub, library and puzzle room, movie theatre, laundry room and private dining room.
