Care & support
Caregivers are available 24 hours a day and help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring and incontinence care. The staff-to-resident ratio is 1:5 or better.
Medication management and administration are provided, and care plans are designed by a registered nurse together with a medical director or practitioner.
Memory care supports residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, with 24/7 supervision and assistance with daily living.
A visiting geriatric physician group and on-call registered nurses are available. Care can be coordinated with home health therapies, hospice, wound care, mobile laboratory and x-ray services, and mobile pharmacy services.
Residents have personal emergency alarm and medical call-alert pendants. Caregivers are CPR and First Aid certified and receive ongoing training.
Rooms & living spaces
The home has private and semi-private bedrooms, with shared or private bathrooms that have grab bars and walk-in, wheelchair accessible showers. Every room is furnished, and residents may bring their own furnishings and decor.
Each room has a large-screen HDTV with cable and Wi-Fi is included. Couples are welcome.
Everyday life
Residents are allowed to keep their own schedules and choose their activities as long as safety and health are not compromised. Housekeeping and personal laundry are provided weekly and as needed.
Dining & meals
Home-made meals are served three times a day with snacks, in an intimate, family dining environment. Special diets are provided as prescribed by a physician or by religious preference.
Activities & connection
Daily activities include music, arts and crafts, bingo, games, senior-safe exercises and movie nights, with celebrations of birthdays and national holidays that family and friends may attend.
Shared spaces & amenities
The property has a multipurpose activity and exercise room and a backyard with walking paths and raised vegetable and flower beds for gardening. A visiting barber and beauty service and mobile massage therapy are available.
Accessibility
The premises are ADA compliant, with walk-in, wheelchair accessible showers and grab bars. The home was remodeled to meet the needs of its residents.
