Short-term rehabilitation helps patients recover after surgery, illness or injury, and long-term care provides 24-hour skilled nursing for residents who need ongoing medical support and help with daily living.

Therapy is provided by licensed therapists, including physical, occupational and speech therapy for outpatients, and the rehabilitation program has two gyms.

Nursing services include IV therapy, wound management, negative pressure wound therapy, PEG tube feedings, a ventilator unit, and COPD, diabetes and congestive heart failure management and education.

Dementia care uses specialized staff, round-the-clock staffing, a Wander Guard system and an activity therapist who plans daily activities.

Hospice and palliative care and temporary respite care are also offered.

Rooms include motorized hospital beds with pressure-relieving mattresses, individual in-room climate controls, cable TV and free Wi-Fi.

Companion suites are available, and housekeeping and personal laundry services are provided.

Meals are prepared on site, with homemade favorites such as meatloaf, fried catfish, chicken fried steak and roast beef, plus salads, soups and fresh vegetables. Cookies are baked fresh daily.

New residents can meet with a dietitian to go over nutritional needs, and cardiac-healthy and diabetic-friendly diets are provided.

A private dining room is available for family events, and a coffee bar and bistro is open 24/7.

The activities calendar includes music and comedy entertainment, movies, games, stretching and singing, current events discussions, religious meetings, holiday parties, gardening and field trips.

Residents hold council meetings and volunteer programs are offered, and family members are invited to join activities.

Amenities include iPads and eReaders for checkout, free internet, a putting green, a hair and nail salon, and rocking chairs on the verandah overlooking a private lake.
