Laurel Wellness and Nursing Center

Licensed nursing care and monitoring are available 24 hours a day. Registered nurse oversight and ongoing assessments help guide each resident’s care plan as medical needs change.

Nursing services may include medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, pain management, and post-operative or post-hospital care. Respiratory care is also described, including oxygen management and breathing treatments.

Rehabilitation includes physical therapy for mobility, strength, and balance; occupational therapy for daily tasks such as dressing and self-care; and speech-language pathology for communication, cognition, and swallowing when clinically indicated. Therapy is provided by licensed professionals following physician referral.

The Quick Recovery Unit has TVs and electric beds.

Housekeeping and laundry are listed among the daily living supports. Transportation coordination may be available; contact Laurel Wellness for the current ride schedule and arrangements.

Staff can assist with meals and dining. Registered dietitian services, therapeutic diets, and texture modifications are described, along with help eating for residents with swallowing difficulties.

Planned social and recreational activities include community outings, holiday celebrations, and group events. Religious services and spiritual support are also listed.

On-site amenities include beauty and barber services, common areas with televisions, and outdoor patio spaces.

Flexible visiting hours are listed. The lobby, dining room, and sitting rooms offer spaces for family and friends to gather; Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility. Social services include discharge planning and family counseling.

The center is in a residential part of Fontana on a tree-shaded campus. Parking access is noted as available.
