Care & support

Independent living residents can use the onsite UAMS at BTV clinic for primary care, including diagnostic, specialty, preventive and urgent care. The clinic practitioner specializes in geriatrics.

Licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists, along with certified assistants, provide therapy. Independent living residents can receive rehabilitation at the therapy center or in their own home.

The Assisted Living Cottage is for residents who want or need help with daily tasks such as cooking, housekeeping or medication reminders. It has 12 individual apartments and three two-bedroom suites.

The Medicare-certified Health Care Center provides skilled nursing, while the Special Care Center provides memory care. Both are staffed 24 hours a day.

Rooms & living spaces

Apartments in the main building come in five plans: a studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom Standard, Deluxe and Ultra. Each has a private patio or balcony, full-size kitchen appliances and storage.

The studio is 405 square feet with a full bath. The 600-square-foot one-bedroom has a full bath and an optional stackable washer and dryer.

The Two Bedroom Standard is 843 square feet with 1.5 baths; the Two Bedroom Deluxe is 1,020 square feet with two full baths.

Cottages are two-bedroom duplexes or four-plexes with a patio, carport and backyard. Village Homes have two or three bedrooms, two baths, a dining room, patio and garage; they offer up to 2,000 square feet.

Everyday life

A move-in coordinator helps prepare each unit. Services include housekeeping, laundry, landscaping and grounds care, recycling, and onsite security.

Scheduled transportation is available. Program listings include door-to-door transportation to Razorback games and rides to Walton Arts Center shows.

Carriage Club members can join activities and events at the Village before moving in.

Dining & meals

Dining options include the weekday Bistro and a dining room serving lunch and dinner, Saturday breakfast and Sunday brunch.

Activities & connection

Programs include the Resident Chorus, Play Readers Theatre, Fulbright Friday lectures, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute programs, art and stained-glass classes, gardening, guitar lessons, Brain Teasers, Bridge and Bingo, and caregiver and support groups.

Shared spaces & amenities

Shared facilities include an indoor heated pool and hot tubs, a farmers market, a library with low-vision amenities, a performance hall, a convenience store and a game room.

The 2,000-square-foot Lodge is available for parties, reunions and meetings. Residents can share it with family and friends; it has a full kitchen, catering by Village culinary staff, conversational seating, a large-screen TV and fireplace.
