Care & support
An onsite medical director coordinates medical services, and the director of nursing oversees healthcare in the facility. Nursing services include individualized care plans, IV therapy, dementia and wound care, enteral feeding, catheter, colostomy and ileostomy care, off-site dialysis, nutrition and hydration programs, medication management, restorative nursing, pain management, post-hospital extended care, and hospice and respite services.
Physical, occupational and speech therapy are available, with therapist evaluations to guide rehabilitation. Cardiac rehabilitation addresses medication, diet and lifestyle adjustments after a cardiac event.
After a joint replacement, the therapy team plans to restore range of motion and mobility and to manage pain through therapy. Post-stroke rehabilitation works on skills, movement coordination and speech, as well as ways to manage daily tasks after brain injury.
For long-term-care residents, nursing and therapy staff develop individualized restorative plans. These may address walking, range of motion, daily living tasks, positioning, skin and wound care, contractures, bowel and bladder training, strengthening and restraint reduction. The program also includes rehabilitative and social dining and regular height and weight monitoring.
Nurses help with diabetes management, including blood-glucose monitoring, insulin administration and tracking, exercise and menu planning, and education.

Private and semi-private rooms are offered. Residents may bring comforts from home, and can let the team know what may help them feel more comfortable during their stay.
