Capital City Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Nursing staff are available 24 hours a day and provide skilled nursing care, medication management, wound care, pain management, IV therapy and respiratory care. A medical director oversees ongoing care.

Nursing also covers chronic disease management, catheter care, nutritional support, and assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility, as well as palliative and end-of-life care.

Short-term rehabilitation includes daily therapy as needed, with physical, occupational and speech therapy to help patients regain strength, stability and independence. The facility has a large physical therapy gym.

A social services team helps residents and families coordinate care plans, arrange medical appointments and transportation, hold family meetings and plan for discharge.

Private and semi-private rooms are available. Private rooms have large flat-screen televisions, and the facility provides laundry, linen and housekeeping services.

Long-term care residents are served home-style cooked meals and snacks, and the facility has a spacious dining room.

Programs include daily activities, social functions, live entertainment, spiritual programs, holiday celebrations, outings and a volunteer program.

Amenities include free Wi-Fi, complimentary cable television, an on-site beauty salon, an enclosed garden in the center of the building and an outdoor smoking area.

The facility provides spaces for families to celebrate events and holidays with their loved ones.
