Care & support

Under the Aging in Place model, residents can receive care in their own apartment as needs change, including therapy and personal care coordinated and delivered where they live.

Americare Therapy Solutions provides therapy for residents recovering from surgery, accident or illness, from short-term rehab to an ongoing plan of care. Hospice care is coordinated with Columbia-area hospice providers.

Rooms & living spaces

The 54 apartments are modern, maintenance-free and on one level, so residents do not need to use stairs or elevators. Each apartment has a screened-in porch.

Dining & meals

A restaurant-style dining room serves made-to-order breakfast, daily lunch and dinner specials and an a la carte menu. Residents can also eat in their own living space.

Activities & connection

Activities include exercise classes, pet therapy, faith-based programs, educational programs, meditation, card games, live music and outings to the Missouri Theatre. Residents can also volunteer at local charities.

Amenities include a wellness center, a recently renovated spa, a library, scenic patios with private outdoor entrances and scheduled transportation. The community is pet friendly, with on-site pet services and a monthly visit from a University of Missouri veterinarian.

Location & getting around

TigerPlace is just off US-63 and Grindstone Parkway. Rock Bridge Memorial State Park is minutes to the south, and University Hospital, Boone Hospital Center and Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital are close by.
