Skilled nursing includes 24-hour onsite nursing and a person-centered approach that lets residents help decide things like when they wake up, what they eat and when they bathe.

Memory care is offered in a protected setting for people with memory loss or Alzheimer's disease, guided by a relationship-based approach built on respect, empathy and connection.

The Rehab-to-Home program combines physical, occupational and speech therapy with skilled nursing, including sessions in an onsite therapy pool, and ongoing therapy is available for long-term residents.

Before discharge, the team coordinates care with home health providers, and hospice care is arranged with local providers. Advanced wound therapy is offered within the rehabilitation and skilled nursing programs.

Meals are served in a restaurant-style dining room with made-to-order breakfast, daily lunch and dinner specials, and an always-available menu.

Activities include live music, exercise classes, pet therapy, faith-based programs, educational programs, meditation and volunteering at local charities, plus outings to Nifong Park.

Residents can also visit with children at an onsite daycare center.

Shared spaces include family rooms with big-screen TVs, kitchens, a therapy pool, a beauty salon, a wellness center and enclosed patios with scenic views. Scheduled transportation is offered.

The community is on a cul-de-sac just off US-63 near the University of Missouri, with University Hospital and Boone Hospital Center nearby, and A. Perry Philips Lake and Grindstone Nature Area only minutes away.
