Physical, occupational and speech therapy is available up to seven days a week as part of the wound care program.
Wound care uses treatments such as E-Stim, ultrasound and negative pressure therapies, and certified wound care nurses provide on-site consultations and care.
Orthopedic rehabilitation follows hip or knee replacement, spine and other orthopedic surgeries, in a private wing with an on-staff, board-certified orthopedic surgeon serving as orthopedic navigator.
A cardiac rehabilitation program is tailored for people recovering from heart disease or cardiac surgery, supervised by cardiac specialists including physicians, nurses and therapists.
The medical rehabilitation program helps stroke and neurological patients relearn walking, daily activities, communication and swallowing.
Specialized tracheotomy care is offered in a home-like environment, including CPAP, BiPAP and AVAPS therapies and oxygen therapy.
The care team includes a registered dietitian, licensed social workers, case managers and discharge planners, and specially trained nurses provide around-the-clock care.
