Care & support
The care team supports residents with dressing, bathing and medication management. Assisted living also includes help with grooming.
Memory care is provided for residents living with memory loss, including Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Skilled nursing provides 24-hour nursing care, on-site rehabilitation therapy seven days a week, wound care, IV antibiotics, oxygen care, and post-acute and post-surgical care. Respite care is also offered.
Colonnades Medical Associates, part of the UVA Health System, is on site, and the rehabilitation center is Medicare and Medicare Advantage certified.
Rooms & living spaces
Independent living apartments include one-bedroom and two-bedroom plans with full kitchens and private balconies or patios, and most have a washer and dryer. Two plans include a single car garage.
Skilled nursing rooms have cable TV, Wi-Fi, a bedside phone, an emergency call system and bedside windows, and the rehabilitation center has a courtyard with a pond and garden.
Dining & meals
Residents can dine in the dining room or have a casual bite in the bistro. The executive chef prepares fresh, seasonal dishes and listens to residents' tastes and preferences.
