Care & support
Long term care includes individualized care assessments and personalized care plans, with long term, short-term and respite care at skilled and intermediate levels.
Registered nurses and certified nursing assistants provide care, and ancillary services include a psychologist, audiologist, optometrist, dentist and podiatrist. Hospice care for the terminally ill is also offered.
Pulmonary services with 24-hour consultations include oxygen protocols, lung expansion therapy, obstructive sleep apnea management and artificial airway management.
The short-term rehabilitation program treats people recovering from cardiovascular, neurological or orthopedic challenges such as strokes or hip fractures. Physical, occupational and speech therapists are available seven days a week.
Rehabilitation therapies include VitalStim, respiratory therapy, intravenous therapy, Anodyne therapy and Accelerated Care Plus (ACP), and the community has a large therapy gym.
A Home Transitions Program includes home evaluations by associates to support a safe return home after rehabilitation.
Medicare and most insurances are accepted, and Medicaid is accepted for long term care.
