The campus has 46 cottages and 99 apartments. Apartment layouts include one bedroom, one bedroom plus den, or two bedrooms; apartments have full kitchens and combined living/dining areas.
Cottages have kitchen appliances, washer-dryers, patios, attached garages and attic storage. Matthew Terrace apartments have large windows, accommodating bathrooms and generous closets.
Everyday life
Matthew Terrace residents receive weekly housekeeping, with housekeeping and maintenance staff available on weekdays.
Property upkeep includes lawn care, snow removal, outside window washing, and exterior painting and maintenance. The facilities crew also services appliances and maintains plumbing and heating systems.
Dining & meals
When possible, the culinary team uses local ingredients, including garden herbs, farmers-market vegetables, locally raised beef and seafood from local fishermen.
Residents can give input through a resident-run dining committee and comment cards; family recipes and new ideas are welcome.
