Care & support
Assisted living residents have round-the-clock care and assistance with activities of daily living. Care is offered at three levels, the Azalea, Camellia and Magnolia plans, which add help with bathing, dressing, toileting and transfers.
All care plans include 24-hour supervision by staff trained in Adult First Aid and a fall detection and assistance pendant.
Respite care is offered for temporary stays, including 24-hour supervision, three daily meals, and weekly housekeeping and laundry. Specialists from the Our Lady of the Lake Senior Care Center see residents needing medical attention every other Friday.
Rooms & living spaces
Independent living garden apartments are on the ground floor, each with its own porch and a fully equipped kitchen. All floor plans include WIFI, and small pets are accepted.
Assisted living plans include utilities except telephone, basic cable, weekly housekeeping and laundry, and a pull cord in each apartment.
Dining & meals
Assisted living residents receive three meals daily, and special diets can be accommodated. Independent living includes two home-cooked meals daily, breakfast and lunch, with a third meal optional. Meals can be delivered at no charge.
Activities & connection
A planned activity and exercise program and worship services are offered. The pool has an adjoining whirlpool spa, with water aerobics in summer and exercise classes year round.
Shared spaces & amenities
Amenities include a swimming pool, a beauty shop on the second floor, weekly nail care, winding pathways around five landscaped acres, and professional maintenance of homes and grounds.
Transportation to medical and dental appointments is offered twice a week, and independent living has group transportation to shopping, theater and restaurants.
Location & getting around
The community is less than half a mile from the Southdowns Fire Station, with shopping and restaurants nearby.
