Care & support

Direct care staff are trained and tested on medication administration and supervision by a registered nurse. A board-certified internist makes house calls as needed, and residents may use their own doctors.
Residents who qualify may receive Medicare-reimbursed therapies and rehabilitation on site through a home health agency.
Staff assist with personal hygiene and grooming and offer regular toileting schedules, along with respite care and adult day services by special arrangement.
Dining & meals
Meals are prepared and served by professional chefs, with heart-healthy cuisine that is low in sodium and saturated fat, and special diets can be accommodated.
Activities & connection
A full-time Activity Program Director with a degree in Gerontology coordinates therapeutic programs, and a sample weekly schedule includes stretching, dumbbell workouts, bingo, trivia, a baking club and movies.
Each resident receives a weekly 30-minute massage from a massage therapist, and weather permitting, residents take assisted strolls outdoors.
Special activities mark holidays, and a singer and guitarist entertains residents once every two months.
