Staff who care for residents with dementia have completed state-required specific training and are experienced in this special needs care.
The home is an aging-in-place home, and staff work closely with hospice physicians, nurses and families to keep residents comfortable through the last phase of life.
In an emergency, 911 is used for advanced medical care.
