How your saved planning data works

Saving a care home is optional. You can search and compare public listings without saving anything to an account.

What we keep

Your account keeps the care homes you save, their names and locations, your order and archive choices, and when you changed them. Your private notes, favourites and visit plans—including questions you write in those plans—are protected before they are stored in the database. Database operators and backups may still hold account and care home identifiers and the protected data.

Who sees it

Your signed-in account can open your saved planning in SeniorClarity. Providers do not receive your saved notes or plans, and we do not use them to send requests, emails or texts. The separate “Ask a question” form saves the name, contact details and message you submit and tries to pass them to the care home. If the listing has no verified manager, our team receives the inquiry for follow-up. Your public comparison is separate: it stays in your browser unless you share its link.

How long it stays

Saved planning stays in your account until you clear it or your account is deleted. You can edit, archive or restore saved care homes. Clearing removes active and archived saved choices, notes and plans from the current account database. A small record of the clear action remains with your account so we can confirm it if your browser repeats the request; it is removed if your account is deleted. Database backups are currently kept for seven days, so a cleared item can remain in a backup until that period ends.

Clear your saved planning data

Opening this link does not clear your data. You can review the action before confirming it; sign in if asked.

Keep notes general

Use notes for questions about a care home or a visit. Please do not enter diagnoses, medications, medical records or other sensitive personal details.
